By way of explanation, a commercial website is not hosted on a computer sitting in your office. You rent a computer called a "server" from a web hosting company. They provide 24/7/365 support as well as a very high-speed internet connection, heavy duty air conditioning, redundant electrical systems with backup generators, and so on so that your website stays online day and night with somebody babysitting the thing.

The server we are renting will be one year old this month and we've had some minor problems with it over the last 11 months needing to reboot it 6 times. In this last month we have had to reboot it 13 times. So we are looking at what is causing the problem and what needs to be done to fix it. I SUSPECT that some piece of hardware is failing slowly in the system, possibly the main hard drive. As soon as we can narrow down the exact part we will have it replaced.

In the meantime, I apologize for any downtime you experience when coming onto our site. We hope to have the problem part(s) located and repaired in the next 48 hours.
