"Beyond The First 7 Clicks" covers topics beyond the basics learned in "The First 7 Click" video.

This is a 3-CD video set with nearly 3-hours of how-to video showing step-by-step the ins and out of using Generations in real-world digitizing. If you have already watched "The First 7 Clicks" or are already familiar with the basics but want to learn more Generations skills - then this video is for you!

In this video Holly shows how to...

Adjust with New Points, Adjust with a Line, Adjust with an Arc, Create Outlines from area edges, Create a LINE from an area, Create an AREA from a line, Merge, Divide with a line, Divide with a curve, Create a shadow, Gradient Shading, Creating Pattern Fills, Using stamped patterns, Create your own stamped patterns, Create and use motifs, Create Building Blocks, Create Redwork...

... and how to use these techniques in real-life digitizing!

Note:  When these videos were made (August of 2006) Generations was on version 1.4 and that's what is shown in the video. Since then they have done some updates with version 1.5 and in the fall of 2008 with version 1.6 which is the current version. However, there is almost no noticable changes in the software from version 1.4 to 1.6 in terms of how it is used. The changes have been to new features added. The features are "bells and whistles" type, in other words, they don't affect how you digitize, but rather have added some new cool things.

Holly and I were talking about this topic last night and she will come out with another video this year showing the additional features and how to use them but what you learn from these videos will get you up to speed as a digitizer without needing to know about new special features.

One more note...

The "Computer Skills For Machine Embroidery" disk is a CD-Rom.  It can be played on your computer.  Most people already have the software for playing this type of CD-based video on their computer.  If you DON'T have it already you can get free video player software from this site...  http://www.videolan.org/   Look for the Download Now link on the right side of the page.
