Embroidery Tip... Empty Your Bobbin Without Having To Pick It Up Off The Floor!

" When I have several bobbins with just a small amount of thread, and don't want to use them in my machine for fear of running out and having to back track or starting over, I use this simple trick. I put all of the bobbins in an empty margarine tub.  Any small container with a lid will do. I make certain all of the thread tails of the bobbins are hanging over the tub edge then close the lid loosely and pull the threads all at once.  It helps to put your hand on top of the lid gently so it doesn't come off when pulling. This saves me so much time, as I don't need to empty each bobbin separately in my hand. where the bobbin usually ends up on the floor. "
