DESIGNS: "Bad Stitch Data" or "No Stitch Data" (0809-254)

"Bad Stitch Data" is one of several messages you can get from "PE-design" when the design you are trying to open has been created in a version of PES that is newer than your software version. You have several ways to get around the problem.

1) Update your old software

2) Revert the design backwards to be compatible with your version

3) Import the design in a different format (like HUS) into your sofware and save it as a PES design

4) Re-download the designs from our site in case you got a corrupt download

Which way you choose depends on a couple choices you have...

If you don't object to updating your old software to a newer version then that's the easiest way to go. It might cost your anywhere from $20 and higher to update your program.

If you are adverse to spending any money to update your software then you have a couple other choices. If you already own software like BuzzTools, BuzzXplore, or Embird, you can open the design in any of those programs and save it as PES-Version-1.

If you don't own any of those programs you could open your old softare and choose "File/Import" and select the design, then save it as PES and it will be saved in a version that your program recognizes.
