On that page is a list of upload pages you can use to upload your ads onto for future days. For example, today is Oct 14th and there are links to upload ads to Oct 15th through Oct 28th. The link for placing ads on Oct 14th was deleted automatically a few minutes after midnite Central time. At the same time, the Oct 14th Daily News page was made active for our readers to see.

The intent of having the upload page link disappear is that after midnite, new ads are not to be placed into today's Daily News. This system gives everyone 2 weeks to place ads for any upcoming day, but does not provide an upload page for ads for today to be placed today.

However, there is a "backdoor" way that a person can still use to upload ads for today and a few of you have been doing that. This places your ads ahead of everyone who uses the intended upload links. It is the equivalent of butting in line ahead of other people. This practice must stop.

Anyone who posts their ad using the backdoor method will have their ads deleted early the next morning when our editor starts work for the day. We will also terminate the membership and advertising priveleges of anyone who does this in the future."

Regarding Advertising Prices...

The cost to advertise in the Daily News for NEW MEMBERS who join us after 11/1/08 will be higher than the cost for those who joined us before 11/1/08.  If you have an advertising membership now, you will probably want to keep it and remain at the charter member price.  If your credit card expires, or for some other reason your membership temporarily lapses, you can contact me for help in re-establishing your membership at the original charter member price.  If you allow your membership to lapse for more than 30 days then the charter membership price will no longer be available to you.
