Printer-Friendly Format

PLEASE PRINT THIS PAGE OUT...

The seminar starts promptly at 8:00 am.  We will provide coffee and bagels or danish in the conference room.

We will break for lunch around Noon.  Anyone who wants to join Holly for lunch will be able to do so at a nearby restaurant or in the hotel restaurant if there is one on premises.

You can leave your computer in the room as Larry will stay there during lunch to keep an eye on things.  In the afternoon we will provide soda and snacks in the conference room.  Of course, water will be available throughout the day.

The seminar ends at 5:00 pm.

If you have any questions or concerns before the seminar you can reach Larry at 847-946-1342 or Holly at 847-946-1403.

Checklist of what to bring with you...

____ Laptop (Notebook) computer running Windows-XP, Vista, or Windows-7.

(If you have Windows-7 please call us NOW so we can verify that your computer has what is needed to run Generations.)

____ Bring your laptop's POWER SUPPLY with you!

____ Bring a MOUSE.  You will not be able to digitize with the touchpad on your laptop.  It requires a mouse.  If you want to digitize with a "pen", this will not be the place to learn how to use the pen & tablet along with trying to learn to digitize.  If you already use a pen/tablet and are VERY used to clicking and right-clicking with them, then it should be okay.  But if you normally use a mouse or the touchpad, do not buy a pen/tablet and try to learn to use it at the same time as you are trying to learn to digitize.

____ Bring a sweater or light-weight jacket.  Sometimes people end up sitting near an air-conditioning vent.  Sometimes the room temperature can go up or down during the day.

You do not need to bring your own digitizing program with you UNLESS your program is Generations.  If you don't have Generations, we will provide a full working copy for your use during the seminar.  You can even take home a trial version to use for 30 days after the seminar if you want.

If you have any questions or concerns before the seminar you can reach Larry at 847-946-1342 or Holly at 847-946-1403.
