We are using "Web Lettering" service and it is a freebie from PlanetEmbroidery.com for other site owners to share with their visitors. That's the good news - the bad news is there are three possible problems with it that I have seen so far.

1 - The email with the design doesn't reach everyone that makes a design because their spam filters are blocking it as spam either on their local pc or on their ISP's server...

2 - The email with the design doesn't get through because the user has an antivirus program that assumes any email with an attachment might be a virus and is deleting it or...

3 - The end user's pc is not set up properly with cookies enabled, java programs enabled or security levels low enough to allow running this remote application.

The PlanetEmbroidery website has no contact info listed so there is no way for me or anyone else to contact them and ask questions. I can see from their site that they are located in Argentina! So the bottom line is - it seems to work for about 80% of the people that use it and I have no way to help the others that are running into problems as described above. If you find a way to solve the "java problem" please post it here and I will add it to the page as part of a help file.

Monogram Wizard Plus

While "free" is always good - it's not always the BEST solution. I personally recommend that anyone who wants more than a few lettering or monogram designs made should contact our friend Marv at Marvelous Creations and inquire about getting a copy of Monogram Wizard Plus!

Monogram Wizard Plus is just about as easy to use as the Web Lettering software but is installed on your pc and you can use it as often as you want to. It also make beautiful monograms as well as straight text. They have a minimum advertised price of $249 so I can't say how much Marv sells it for - but I will say you will kick yourself if your spend $249 for it!

Marv's number is 877-593-3535. Tell him we sent you and he will knock another $1 off the price!  (Heck - a buck is a buck!)

To me Monogram Wizard Plus is an indispensible program for anyone that does embroidery!
