Members that register for our 'TELL-2' program will get their own special referral link to ATW. Each time a TELL-2 member refers a person to ATW who joins, we will split their membership dues with you on an ongoing basis.

Let me say that again - for each member you refer using our affiliate referral system, we'll pay you up to 50% of THEIR membership fees for as long as they (and you) remain a member of ATW. The reason I called it "TELL-2" is because that's my goal for every person that joins ATW.  Bring in 2 new members and your earnings will pay for your membership!

Most people here pay about $80/yr in round numbers. If a TELL-2 members refers just 1 new member, then they would earn 50% of that persons membership fees - which works out to $40 a year. If a TELL-2 member refers 2 new members, they would earn 50% of EACH of those 2 new members dues, and that works out to $80 a year. In other words - if you "TELL-2" who join then you will earn enough to pay for your own membership here!

I see this as a "Win-Win" situation for all of our members. The more members that are here, the more fun the forums and photo there are to enjoy. Most people in our industry would say we're nuts to offer that high of a commission, but...

I have two reasons why I'm doing this...

Reason #1 is that most of you have probably told two people about ATW in the last week - let alone in the last year! Every time you're in the sewing stores and the topic of designs comes up - I know you tell people about ATW! And those people come and join us. So why not pay for the real way we find new members (word of mouth) instead of the magazine ads and online advertising systems!

Reason #2 is "Because we can!"  With the website we already have in place, it doesn't cost us much more to add another new member. Your referrals won't add any additional cost to our normal expenses since we're already buying artwork, digitizing, test-sewing, and so on for all our existing members, so adding more members only costs us the merchant account fees and bandwidth fees which really isn't a lot. So why not split the income with our members!

You've probably already figured this out...

Refer 2 people and you make $80/year.
Refer 20 people and you make $800/year.
Refer 200 people and you make $8,000/year.
Refer 2,000 people and you make $80,000/year.

(Yes - it's possible to refer 200 or even 2,000 if you set up a Yahoo group, a social network, an email list, a website, or any of several other ways that I will cover!)

One very important note you must read first:  Simply sending someone to ATW or sending me an email saying "I referred a friend named ____ to ATW" won't earn the affiliate commission for you! Our website has a built-in tracking system for referrals. It automatically tracks new customers that are sent to us by giving each affiliate their own referral code.  When your referrals click through your link to our site, their computer picks up your referral code as a cookie and when they buy a membership, our system credits your account for the sale. 

It sounds "techie", but our system automates almost everything in the process.  And I'll show you how to do it in the articles below.  Just pick whichever ones are of interest to you and click in for an article or video showing how it's done.  

One final note... not all products and memberships pay a 50% commission.  Physical products like CD's and memory cards do not have enough profit margin on them to pay anywhere near that amount.  I'll list what commissions various products carry in articles below.
