Zip Files Won't Unzip On My CD?
"Can zip files on CD's be unzipped later when ready to use them?" Yes BUT... I've had people try to unzip a file on a CD without first bringing the zip file to their hard drive. That doesn't work because the unzip program needs to make a new file and if it is left by default to make the new file on the same drive as the zip file then it is trying to write to a CD that has already been written to and closed. When Outlook Stopped Filtering Junk Mail... And How I Fixed It!
One Monday morning in November my computer ran the latest updates from Microsoft called "Service Pack 3". It's always good to have the most recently discovered security holes plugged which is a lot of what prompts these updates. But this one created a problem for the email on my computer!
